you have to take at least 50% parents permission and from your part 100% assurance that you will be not change your school further.
2 :
As long as a parent goes with you to the orientation and signing over the forms, there's nothing anyone can do about it and the school doesn't have to know your Dad doesn't want you to. It could cause tension at home and such though, so be careful. Legally, yes. Morally, maybe not. It depends where your priorities are. Good luck xo

I'm so sick and tired of school and work!

I'm so sick and tired of school and work!?
I'm in year 11 at school in Australia and I have a part time job. Last year in year 10 I had no problem balancing both, but now the manager has gone away and the owner's daughter is running the shop and instead of 12hrs a week she's giving me 20! I can't cope, I'm falling behind and I'm really tired. I need help and before you say ask for less hours, i've already tried and she can't add up so instead of giving me 12 this week she gave me 15! Please give me some advice if you have any, i told her last week b4 she did the roster that im 2 tired to work and go to skool and that im falling behind and she said yea u will only have 12hrs next week so i believed her. today i walk in b4 work 2 check the roster and im working 15hrs which is only 1 extra shift, but i could be revising or doing homework rather than working! what do u mean anotha job? i already have 1 job, i dont want 2! i like this job coz it's just up the street from my house so I don't have to pay 4 travel. Also I've already worked in fast food (Red Rooster) and I hated it! I like my job so I don't want to quit I just wanted tips on how 2 manage both skool and work. I need a job coz I go 2 a private skool and my parents need me to work coz they don't have enough money to give me for going out, food (tuckshop), and all the other stuff I want like mobile fone credit, makeup clothes etc, as well as paying 4 private skool

You know ur education should be ur priority. u tell her that u cant do this extra hours because of school work. and she should understand.

I work full time and attend college. It's rough, I get burned out every now and then. But I just keep plugging along, because I know in the long run it will pay off. Sorry no real good advice, but I will pray for you. It can't hurt.
3 :
can you get another job that won't need so many hours?
4 :
Quit this job and get another job like McDonald's.
5 :
Do you need to be working yet ? if not why dont you try finding a job that your happy with. Because i know i would get stressed to if i was in your position.
6 :
I would tell her that you are going to have to quit if she cannot give you just 12 hours. Likely, she will reduce it to twelve hours, but if she doesn't even take that seriously, you can quit and get a job that better fits your hours.

know this. the dingo will eat your baby! just kidding hope you get the joke. have a great time austriallia it is such a great place. perhaps you should look at different exchange programs they should have a cost for you to participate and that should include tuition. the Rotary exchange is a good one i hear. have a great time.

I know my sons school hosts international students if you want to live in a tropical climate here in Cairns , Queensland. "they host international students in programs ranging from full time study, study abroad and short term study tours." more info here: http://smithfieldshs.eq.edu.au/wcmss/international.html

private schools in Australia can cost anything from $3000 dollars a year to $20000 dollars a year for a top boarding school. hope this is of some help , there are lots of free state schools also and they are often very good if not better in some cases.

Whilst Australia is vast, with large differences around the country Education wherever you choose should be OK as all need satisfy Commonwealth and State standards for licence, tax and funding reasons. IF on Exchange read options of Exchange Program given to you. With many exchange programs your school fees remain what you currently pay at home, however you will need spending money ;-) IF looking to arrange your own boarding you need look at each boarding school. Some are very expensive, some not. My children attended St Philips College in Alice Springs : www.stphilips.nt.edu.au Look at their site for fees etc. Located in Alice Springs, capital of Outback Australia, St Philip's is a Uniting Church co-educational Boarding and Day School for students in Years 7 - 12.

First check out the Committee for safety of Foreign exchange Students. In New Zealand a convicted rapist was approved to host a Chinese girl. No fingerprint-based criminal background checks of these hosts. It doesn't matter if your a girl or guy - watch out.

um, school costs... i think it's somewhere in the hundreds (in aussie money) but i'm not sure if it's different for exchange students, u should ask your school (or who ever is organising the exchange student program thing) So, canada, that's pretty cool! oh, there's not much else you need to know... i don't think, i remeber we had some exchange students from holland and germany and a couple of other places when i was still at school!
7 :
Try afs.org as a good starting point

It really depends on whether you are wanting to go to a public school or a private school. There is some information on the Australian Government Website about international students that might help: http://govsearch.australia.gov.au/search/search.cgi?collection=gov_combined&coverage=all&fqp=1&fscope=512&num_ranks=20&chksummary=chksummary&query=international+students And there is a Government website dedicated to education which may help also. http://www.education.gov.au/goved/go Either way you will love Australia and never want to go home.
