Everyones calling me gay at school

Everyones calling me gay at school?
I started a private school in Australia, its my first year, people are just calling me gay, i have only one best friend which supports me but nearly my whole school calls me gay, by the way my school is a all boy school, they say that i walk like a girl but my Friend says i don't, they tease my because, i put light foundation my face, now i can't make Friends, because other people are scared to be teased like me, life at school is getting very difficult for me, i once cried at the toilets and every time i get teased, my heart sinks and i feel so broke. People at my school also say that i look like a Girl, i don't know what to do, i say to myself that " if i tell the principle on the people who are constantly teasing me, they might be against me", also im not a socialized person, I don't defend myself when people tease me, i just walk away.

dude just become manly. and i learned when you start a new school, tip #1: NEVER CRY. that will make you seem like a wimp and sensitive. and gay
2 :
you probably are gay, own it and laugh
3 :
talk to a counselor or your parents. if this keeps going on it could get worse and they might get physical. maybe then your parents might let you switch schools. if not then just keep being who you are and don't let anybody bring you down. maybe if they see that they aren't getting to you they might stop. those kids are stupid and its not bad to care about the way you look. don't forget that problems will pass. soon you'll be out of school and these kids won't be around anymore.
4 :
whoaaa! they seriously need 2 stop they are just hating on you because they have nothing better to do with their lives, their losers and it doesn't matter if you put foundation on your face, many people do that at least where i'm from, i'm in new york. You should be able to express yourself in any way possible. their will always be mean people no matter where you go. just think this everytime "they have no life, so they're trying to find someone 2 pick on" and if it gets worse you should tell your parents ask them to take you 2 a girl and boy private school if they want u 2 be in a private school. Don't let these boys put you down cause their little "BOYS" just think of them as annoying little boys and your the man and if they keep bothering you just think -- soo.. it's not your (talking about these boys) problem so don't worry about it but thanks for caring because i know you have no life

You need to tell your parents or your teachers. Bullying isn't just annoying - it's illegal. There is nothing wrong with being gay if you are. If you are not, don't let it affect you. Who cares if they say that? Is it bad for them to think such stupid things? Let them be the ignorant piles of dog crap they are. You have the moral high ground: you are better than them. As for the idiotic first poster who said you shouldn't cry - there is nothing wrong with crying if you are upset. We all do it.

What topic should I choose for a school research project

What topic should I choose for a school research project?
I'm in Stage 1 of SACE at High School, for those who don't live in Australia SACE is basically the moderator for High Schools in Australia. Assignments and Exams are sent away and compared with other schools to make sure teachers are grading work appropriately. SACE is used in the two final years of High School, I have just started my first SACE year. Okay so back to my question. I have to choose a topic to research, we have the whole year to do it so as you can imagine they're expecting more than 10 pages of work. It can be a general topic such as " A history of cars" or very specific such as "How are magazines printed". I would like to do a more specific topic but can't really think of any. My general interests are Animals, art, fashion, space (as in stars,moon,sun),make-up and photography. I would also be interested to hear of ideas outside these interests if you think I would like them. I have about a week to come up with something to research so I would really appreciate answers asap! Thanks in advance :D

You can choose a topic which is very open ended and has a lot of points to be discussed about. Otherwise you might end up not having good points for the topic. All the best.
2 :
You can research the Space Race but looking at the Soviets (or the Americans). History of Flight You can do one one Extinct birds hope this helps

Australian High School Graduate Wanting To Go To an American University

Australian High School Graduate Wanting To Go To an American University?
I'm 18 and have just finished High School in Australia. Next year I'd love to study a B.A. Spanish Education/Teaching (or similar) in the USA. While Spanish isn't my native language, I've learnt it in school for 5 years, and am really interested in pursuing a career in Spanish Education, however there is no such existing course in any Australian university, and even if there were, I'd still rather go to an American university for the cultural and employability benefits. Anyway, my problem is that I have neither friends nor family living in the US, and hence have NO IDEA where I should apply for university. I'm definitely in need of a scholarship to support myself (and would do au-pair work if possible), but other than that, the options for getting this degree are so broad that I'm really just clueless as to where I should go. Any help or ideas? Any universities you know of that could be recommended for my particular field of study? P.S. I'm currently studying for the SATs, and English is my native language (so I wouldn't need to take a TOEFL test). My high school grades weren't fabulous, but were above average nonetheless, so the university would have to be one that isn't expecting an extremely intelligent person. WIth that said, I'm very hard working, and came first in my Spanish class with high grades at the end of school exam we have here (if that's of any importance).

well, the problem for you is getting you to a college to visit. trust me, a lot of colleges look like it will fit you on paper, but its weird because its like you automatically know if you like it or not when you step on the campus. thats the most important part. i wouldnt worry so much about your major. no offense, but unless you really know what you want to do, 75% of the time, people change their intended major anyways. if i were you, i would be concerned about the cost of the college, but not too too concerned. almost everyone files for financial aid for almost every college so its not like they collect your money right now and if you cant pay, youre out. but in terms of location, im thinking texas, so cal, arizona and new mexico which are the obvious ones. and if i were you, i would probably apply to a state school.there are big ones and small ones. not all are 50000+ students. and once you can scrape up enough to buy an apartment, you could apply instate and the cost to go to the college would drop dramatically.

What to do about a school that dosn't punish bullies

What to do about a school that dosn't punish bullies?
Well, there's this one group of bullies in particular that has been bullying me for 2 years now. I have told the school multiple times, nothing is ever done. This is mainly because most of them are sports reps, who represent the school in sport, therefore the school wants to keep them at the school. As a result, these bullies can get away with almost anything with a slap on the wrist and nothing else. The main bully in the group has developed an ego problem because of it, and treats me like dirt whenever we are in the same room. He is almost uncontrollable by teachers, he is very defiant, so his behavior is nearly impossible to stop. What can I do, considering the school don't care? This is at a private school in Australia, so American laws may not apply.

You must join with Sauron, Gandalf.
2 :
Take it to a higher authority than just your school, and bring up that the school authorities/officials have done nothing about it. Also, try to stay away from the person until something can be done.
3 :
talk to the town or city police about it
4 :
if the school wont punish bullies YOU PUNISH THEM!!! (or just sew theme i think its illegal to bully people?)
5 :
First off, find someone that isn't so easily swayed by the fact that your bullies are 'important' because of sports. Someone like a guidance counselor for example might be able to give you advice or at least lend an ear and support. I don't know how they structure classes in Australia, but in america i would ask for my schedule to be as different as possible from these people so you could avoid all that negative. Say that you are very stressed out and can't concentrate because these individuals continue to give you such a hard time. It may be a shot in the dark, but what about confronting the main culprit and offering a truce. If that doesn't work you could always piss someone off and try out for the team! they sure won't see that coming. Good luck resolving your bully problem, hope i helped.

i think it is a shame that your parents arent more supportive of you sweetie? i find that most schools (and private schools even more so) are very sensitive to publicity in the media where i used to live there was a school where bullying continued outside the school gates - several incidents of this. the events were along the lines of bullies way laying the victim(s) and attacking them physically on their way home from school. the schools attitude was 'outside of our premises - nothing to do with us' - that was UNTIL the stories got to the newspapers. then all of a sudden they found that they WERE able to do something about it after all.....
7 :
fight them
8 :
If telling teachers hasn't worked, tell your parents. Get them to write to the school. (Get them to write, not call, so there is evidence that the school has been formally notified about this). If that didn't help, I (as a parent) would start looking for a different school for you. Another alternative is to call Kids' Help Line, 1800-55-1800. I'm sure they deal with this issue all the time and will have some suggestions.
9 :
GO to Karate or ti chi And FIGHT BACK!
10 :
Well, as bad as it is, reality is there are also employees in the adult world who ignore bullying too. They are adults and should know and do better, but at least as an adult you have more choices. If the school won't do anything and you are stuck there, can you and your friends and the other kids who resent the bullying stick together? Bullies need power and there is power in numbers. Is this a boarding school, or do you escape them at the end of the day and can tell your folks about it? You could involve the police or media, but that is a big step. I'd say the main bully is not as indispensible as he thinks, even if he is a sporting champ. He might not be able to control his temper when he needs to one day. Hopefully things work out for you. Good luck.
