From what I researched online I did not find any maters degree programs for film studies or film production. You might have to pick another continent to complete your masters program on. Blessings

Its bigger in the U.S. stay here, why do you want to leave?
2 :
ANU-Canberra University of Melbourne has a good medical school Monash University University of New South Wales La Trobe University These are just a few but there are many and standards are high. Plastic surgery is popular here but not as much as in the USA. I left the USA for Australia in 1974 and have never regretted it

....

Melb Uni or Monash are the best medical schools in Victoria (Melb is more presitigeous than Monash). Plastic surgery isn't as big as it is in the US, but it's increasing at an exponential rate. Cosmetic dentistry too

Americans - How come you can't leave school until you are 18

Americans - How come you can't leave school until you are 18?
Just curious. And is their anyway you'se are able to leave school before you turn 18? In Australia you can leave school when your 14 and a half You can get your School Certificate aged 14/15 or you can go on to complete your High School Certificate aged 17/18 But it's optional.

B/c we value education..
2 :
You can leave school at 14-15 if you have a job. The drop out rate is 10%.
3 :
its actually 16.
4 :
You can really leave at anytime, but here in the states your under the control of your parent or guardian till age 18, then you make decisions for yourself.
5 :
Well, at age 16, you can "leave school" to obtain a GED which is basically a graduate equivalence degree. Only the irresponsible people do that, though. It's a good law because it keeps kids in school and helps to ensure a certain level of general education among citizens. If I had it my way, there would be no GED and you'd have to graduate the normal way.
6 :
High school is required, so you are in school until 18..unless you are really smart and take advanced classes to graduate early, but we don't have the separate degrees, just the one high school degree.
7 :
Well you have to be an adult to make the decision to drop of school in the states. I think its a good thing, because it keeps students around until the point where they might as well stick around and finish up. You can leave school at 16 and receive a GED, which is somewhat like a high school diploma. Usually employers look down on it if you're applying for an upper level job.
8 :
You can drop out of school at 16 if you want. U.S. takes education more seriously I guess.
9 :
its because we are competing with asia and russia they want this to be a country where everyone has a good job with a god pay and no one ends up a hobo
10 :
You can always graduate early. . .
11 :
you can leave school at 16 in the U.S
12 :
Depends on state, and parental consent. You don't have to be 18. I graduated at 17, and I left.
13 :
Americans can leave school before they are 18...by more than one method. They can quit at 16 (in most states) but that its up to a parent mostly. Also, if they take certain tests, they can graduate early. most just choose to follow the norm and graduate when they are scheduled to.
14 :
because they want the next generation to be educated ..omg imagine a world without education
15 :
We can leave school at whatever age we want, we just won't get a diploma.
16 :
how bout not leaving school and not worrying about this question and do your homework
17 :
You can leave at sixteen with your parent/guardian's permission. If you can pass the exams, you can even graduate early.
18 :
i never knew that...:O howah here in canada kids leave school when ever the hell they want...lmao i left at age 16 my cousin left at age 12 wow i never knew 18 wow...:O i guess they want there children to be sucsesful.....:D see i cant even spell right lmfao ...........................eh
19 :
Because we don't want a bunch of idiots running around. As if there aren't enough.
20 :
what why? i thought you could drop out whenever you want. in canada i know kids that dropped out when 13 or 14
21 :
In America you are required to go to school until you graduate the 10th grade, or you turn 16 (by law).
22 :
You can leave school at 16 its just that you cant get a drivers license if you are under 18 and not in full time education.
23 :
I believe you can leave sooner but you are not a legal adult until you are 18 and must do what your parents tell you to do until then.
24 :
Actually that is a misconception. School is begun when you are five years old before the start of the school year (september) so... sometimes you are 17 when you graduate and sometimes you are 18. Any time after 14 you can take a test to get your GED, but it is NOT looked upon as a good option, there is so much education that you miss out on, even if you pass the test and get your diploma. Many children go to private school, have tutors, or are in Gifted/Highly Intelligent Programs and graduate early. Australia - Wow... always wanted to visit there, Enjoy the beautiful land down under!
25 :
It's the law, and one that I agree with. Parents can go to jail if they don't see to it that their children are in school until the age of 18, or until they graduate from high school if they're younger.
26 :
Be thankful there is any educational opportunities afforded u. Those with an education make a tremendously more money in their lifetimes. Stay in school and don't even concern urself about quitting. Education/school is the best thing that will ever happen to u and u will take those memories with u, forever. Loose the idea of quitting school. It's not worth it.
27 :
well, I have to guess that education is a must... But, with the current economy going down schooling is going to be hard to support.
28 :
I graduated at 16. I know people who completed their High School education by 15, by having gone to summer school and earned all their credits needed to graduate. So, it's possible.
29 :
Actually if your parents approve you can withdraw before you can start. Especially if you homeschool. In which case you can stop going as soon as your parents can teach you everything you should have learned in school.....which if your smart should take about a week at the age of 10. Seriously school in the US is largely a bunch of crap. Only thing they do well at all is math...and that's only if you're in the advanced classes. (And before anyone accuses me of being rude to the US.....I'm FROM the US, I went through the school. I homeschool 1st and 2nd grade and didn't learn a single thing more till I got to my junior year of HS. (except how to play a musical instrument in a marching band....but that's not really practical knowledge.....but it was fun.)
30 :
I am not sure exactly, but i believe one reason is because you aren't really considered an adult until your 18. Well young adult, some states age 18 is required to get driver's license, and i believe it is the legal age to vote. Anyways, so i think people believe before you are 18 you aren't really ready to make a big decision like not going to school, and going to school is important. So i think that is why, but that is just what i think. But as people said, you could get out of high school at 16 with parents permission.
31 :
If you complete the requirements for education, you can leave school earlier. I was done at 17 and know someone else who was 15.
32 :
you can drop out of school when your 16 you just just have to have parental consent. and you cant do it by yourself before your 18 because your not legally able to make your own decisions until your 18. You can graduate before 18 if you have finished all required curriculum.
33 :
Because they want to thoroughly brainwash you for as long as your brain is developing. (just kidding) Parents probably made pushed to make it this way and pushed it politically.
34 :
in new jersey you have to go to school until ur 16. because the law says so. 16 is also the age at which u can start working.
35 :
16 in NH
36 :
you can leave school before you're 18. a lot of people graduate high school when they're 17 or occasionally even younger. and you're allowed to legally drop out when you're 16.
37 :
Coz education is everything. Same thing happens in S Africa...we finish school at 18.
38 :
You can drop out at 16 with a guardians permission. And some people graduate at 17 because of a late birthday.
