This probably means FD = Full-degree programs (bachelors, masters, etc.) The typical program designations used by the Commonwealth (Australian) Government) are: SA = Semester- and year-long study abroad program FD = Full-degree programs (bachelors, masters IN = Internships, volunteer and work experience ST = Short-term summer, winter, or travel/study E = Exchange programs

The best time is no time school sucks.
3 :
It depends on what time your school starts.... I wake up at 6am and school starts at 7:42 I.. -shower -dry hair -make my hair look nicer... -get dressed up -eat I leave the house at 7:20 Make sure you have enough time to do everything you need to! :]
4 :
about an hour and a half to 2 hours before school starts, that way you get time fir breakfast and youre not late for class
5 :
I wake up at 5. My bus arrives at 6. It depends on what you do. x
6 :
Well it obviously depends on: 1. What time does your school start? 2. How long does it take you to get to school? 3. How long do you take to get ready and out?

Now that Obama has been schooled by Australia's PM, have you seen the light

Now that Obama has been schooled by Australia's PM, have you seen the light?
Pretty bad when another PM points out the fact that your "pull the troops out in March" policy is crap! Ha ha!

Got right to the point, but you know the liberals will take the word of the Russian first tho.
2 :
Remind me...and just HOW is the Australian PM even relevant? I guess next we'll go by what Hugo Chavez has to say about Bush?
3 :
Yeah, I can't believe that with only 2 yrs experience that ANYONE would support him... But American has proven to be blind once again.
4 :
littlebobby.. hmm.. hugo chavez vs the PM of australia!?!? i can think of one of them whose opinion holds much more water....... and it's not hugo chavez.
5 :
Did you read how Cheney got schooled on how lousy commanders draft-dodgers like him and Bush make? These are the toe suckers you guys want in control. They suck, and you want to keep them steering the car. Moron.
6 :
When Bush's lapdog criticizes a Democrat, I'm supposed to be affected? Not.
7 :
Personally, I don't know if I would vote for Obama at the moment, and this comment hasn't changed that. As far as noting that his policy is not a good one, I'm not surprised - in my opinion, the last point where there was a good choice regarding Iraq was roughly four years ago. At this point, I see it as a "bad plan, worse plan," not "good plan, bad plan."
8 :
Well Australias PM was told by Obama to send more Aussies...put up or shut up !!
9 :
We call John Howard George Bush's arse licker over here so I wouldn't worry about what he has got to say by time you have a new President we will have voted in a new Prime Minister.
10 :
School Obama?! Please. The PM of Australia, John Howard, is a staunch Bush "croonie". It is easy for him to make his statements since Australia only has ~1400 troops in and around Iraq and Afghanistan. And guess what, as of 2007 no Australian troops have died in Iraq. Only 4 Australians (all private citizens) have died since the start of the "War in Iraq". Let me know if you need some more schooling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
11 :
pull out the troops in march, declare the nation under shariah law by may.
12 :
Ha ha
13 :
Tell the Australian Prime Minister to send to send 40,000 of his troops over there and then I might listen to him
14 :
Mate, here in OZ "Little Johnnny Howard " is losing credibility all the time, so why the hell would you guys listen to Bush's suck Ass..(as we call them here).
15 :
The Australian PM is that country's version of Dubya, and it looks like he's about to get voted out,He's just doing the same thing Dubya does-he's saying anything to distract everyone from the fact he's got his country in a mess and he doesn't have a clue about fixing it.
16 :
The prime minister is Australia's leader not ours. Do you think he should stick his nose in our country's business. He has no idea what he is talking about.

Are there any two-year nursing schools in Sydney, Australia

Are there any two-year nursing schools in Sydney, Australia?
I live in the US and I was thinking about taking my nursing degree from Australia instead of doing it here. I just want to change the scenery. But I'm not sure if there are any two-year colleges there (like community colleges in the US).

G'day, Yes there are. They are called TAFE colleges. The courses are usually under the category of vocational. To find out where nursing is offered, I suggest you to go to Dept of Education, Science and Technology (http://cricos.dest.gov.au) and IDP Education Australia website (www.idp.edu.au). IDP is an organisation that gives information to international students who wants to continue their study in Australia. The information abt fees & requirements can be found in the college's website. Please make sure that you access the information for international students, since some requirements, application form and fees are different than Australians'. Once decided on the college, fill in the application form and send it together with certified copy of your academic qualification. Living cost... Sydney and Canberra have the highest living cost, followed by Melbourne & Brisbane, then Perth, Darwin, Adelaide & Tasmania the lowest. I am attaching a weblink from one of the uni in Melbourne as an indication. Hope this helps. Good luck for your study and welcome to Australia :)
