What's the best university and course to take if you want to be a high school teacher in NSW Australia
What's the best university and course to take if you want to be a high school teacher in NSW Australia?
I'm in year 12 at the moment, and I want to be a high school teacher when I leave school. Which university is the best to go to, and what are the best courses to do? I want to teach in the HSIE area; geography and society and culture. Also, even if i have never done business studies before in high school, would I be able to take that as a subject in uni so that I could teach that as well. Also, if i majored in Sociology, would that allow me to get a job in social working while I wait a while to be become a teacher??

There are two ways to be a teacher - get a BA and then a Dip Ed - or a BEd with a major in two subjects. To be a social worker you need a Bachelor of Social work and an internship - sociology is not Social work - its study of different societys

How can I look completely different for school this Monday
How can I look completely different for school this Monday?
On Monday for school I want to look 85-ish% different, so please read this whole thingy to understand. Ok, I have a reason for wanting this but it's personal. I have dark brown hair, and my mum will let me die/bleach it. Also, I'm in grade 8, which is High School in Australia. How should I do my eyeliner, what colour eyeshadow, ectect. And please don't tell me I shouldn't be wearing makeup at my age, because it's my choice. Basically, how should I do my make up? And this is the hairstyle I want: http://i28.tinypic.com/5u3j2t.jpg (but should I try and get that colour aswell or should I just leave my hair dark brown?) I also want to look pretty, because I'm very average, and I want people to reciognise me when I'm close to them, but you know, not reciognise me from a distance or whatever. Serious answers only, please!

Get some highlights put in, use black eyeliner on your lower inner eyelid, with some shimmery neutral shadow. Keep the blush a light pink, and use a sheer light pink eyeshadow. That should be enough of a difference.

Leave your haircolor the way it is, but do the cut. Also, just a thin line of eyeliner on top and bottom. There's a video somewhere on YouTube on how to apply eyeliner.

you look good already but if you wanna look different, try blonde highlights with that hairstyle that you like. lighten up on the eyeliner, use a pale color on your lids, masacara on the lashes and a lite blush on the cheeks, with a rosy lipgloss.

well if you really want to look different, get your hair dyed blonde, but the underneath part black. my friend just did that, and she looks totally different(she had dark blonde hair too) and cute! and maybe get it cut in layers with side bangs. use really good mascara. and a little bronser. i personally dont care for eye shaddow, i think its a little too much, unless you really know how to do it. and a thin line of eyeliner around yout eye lid. hope that helps!

I think you should keep your hair color, dark brown hair is gorgeous. If you want to change your hair try getting side bangs or even front bangs if you want a big change. That's what I did and everybody loved it. However, I'd only try those if your hair is long. As for make-up, black eyeliner, glittery eyeshadow, foundation (make sure it matches your skin), blush in a peach color so that it highlights your cheekbones. You should also try wearing some pink lip gloss.
