What is the relative position of australia in relation to south africa?
theres more: what modes of transport would i use to reach australia? its 4 my school project...HELP!!

Australia is South-SouthEast from South Africa and yoy would use a plane to reach Australia because it's the fastest way!

wow..... you aren't too bright, but Ill help you anyway. Australia lies East of South Africa across the Indian ocean. You would generally fly by plane to get to Australia or you could go by boat. Some people might have the ability to swim but you would have to be superhuman. Actually I don't think anyone could swim.

They are like two sentinals to the entry into Indian Ocean, with 5000 miles seperating them. While Australia is spread equally on both sides of tropic Of Capricorn, South Africa is wholly on its southern side. But both have their extreme southern points on same latitude, approximately. A century ago, I would have suggested to take an Ocean liner (ship). But now (needless to say) you can take a flight. I dont' know whether there are any direct flights to Australia (but there should be). Shortest air route (on a Great circle) would touch Antarctica on its flight.
